The in-ground soil scanning probe provides ongoing, real-time measurement monitoring to a depth of 30cm throughout seasons.

The soil scanning probes track measurements over time for:

• Soil organic carbon (ppm).

• Total soil organic carbon (tonnes per hectare).

• Moisture (%).

• Bulk density (grams per cm3).

Other measurements, including soil nitrogen and pH, are expected to be added as the technology develops.

The ongoing soil monitoring with the scanning probes, combined with the iScan measurements, produces a unique dataset for improved in-season and longer-term product application and management strategies.
